The Netherlands – December 2009 – LOOQS introduces its newly designed media server MeeBox that works seamlessly with other MeeSeries products and services. It's a unique combination of beauty on the outside and smart technology on the inside.
Imagine you could download, store, manage, backup and share all your favorite multimedia files directly onto one device in your house at any time you like. It is now possible with MeeBox!
Meebox is a high quality media server and a stylish electronics lifestyle product that will serve you in every way you like and wherever you are.
MeeBox is available in two versions, MeeBox Router and MeeBox NAS. MeeBox Router is similar to MeeBox NAS but it also has an integrated wireless router. Both of the boxes are available with one or two hard drives of 500 GB or 1 TB. As they support RAID 0/1 you can use the second hard drive as additional storage space or as a secure backup-drive.
On top of acting as your network storage device, both MeeBox versions offer several other interesting features as well. The integrated iTunes server makes it possible to play all your music with iTunes from MeeBox on your PC or Mac. Next to that there are a BitTorrent download client, a UPnP media server, a web server and a print server. Furthermore MeeBox comes with several pre-installed web applications like a file manager, photo gallery, blog server and web forum. It lets you do whatever you like with the content that is stored on MeeBox.

MeeBox is your central media server and offers you centralized downloading, storage space, file management, data backup and file sharing of all your favorite multimedia files directly onto one device in your house at any time you like.

MeeCeiver
With MeeCeiver you can wirelessly stream photos, music and video files to your regular television set which are stored on your PC or MeeBox. Because MeeCeiver has a direct connection to the internet you can also stream online stored photos (MeeChannel.com / Flickr / Picasa), watch YouTube videos and listen to internet radio stations.

MeeChannel.com is a free online service and your personal gateway to photo storage, management and exchange. The MeeSeries products have been developed to work seamless with MeeChannel.com.
You can register your MeeFrame or MeeCeiver within your personal MeeChannel account and start enjoying your personal MeeChannel photos, shared photos of friends and relatives and different categories of public photos directly onto your MeeFrame or your television.
It is also possible to register a MeeCeiver of one of your friends within your account to enable the ‘Device Sharing’ feature on your own MeeCeiver.

The Netherlands – November 2009 – LOOQS announces its new digital photo frame MeeFrame, that is available now worldwide. MeeFrame is not like a ‘regular digital photo frame’. It is a high-quality photo frame for your digital photos but with many interactive functions integrated, like full touch screen control, keep up-to-date with the latest news and listen to internet radio stations.
“Now that all of our photos are digitalized, they are stored on our computers and we don't do anything with them. With MeeFrame we bring back the photo experience of the past”, says Pieter Havermans, product manager of LOOQS. “Plus we added some fantastic interactive tools to make it more fun.”
MeeFrame is a digital photo frame with an 8 inch touch screen to view photos from a local source like an USB-drive, SD/MMC-card or the internal memory of 1 GB. It can also display the photos that are stored on MeeBox - which will be introduced later this year - or photos that are published on your account at MeeChannel.com, Flickr or Picasa. These photos are streamed live from the internet over a WiFi connection (IEEE 802.11 b/g).
Next to that MeeFrame has a digital music player integrated, Shoutcast internet radio stations and a reader for real time news and information. It can also be used as an alarm clock to wake you up each morning with your favorite song.
