Save energy, save money and save the environment

Dordrecht, March 2010 – An increasing number of people are concerned about their surroundings and the environment and, consequently, they are becoming increasingly more conscious of which products they buy. Trust is aware of the fact that the environment is an important aspect in our society and for this reason, the new Trust power adaptors have been adapted to use less energy.
The ECO-design Directive by the European Commission states that, from 2010, devices for use at home or in the office (including computers, chargers and printers) may no longer use more than 1 Watt when on stand-by and that, within four years, this must be reduced to a maximum of 0.5 Watt. Trust fully agrees with this and our power adaptors are, therefore, now even more energy efficient, so that they easily meet the latest guidelines. Thanks to the refined technology, the power adaptors also meet the new EuP directive which states that the energy saving must be at least 80%. Good for the environment and your pocket!
Since it is also important that it is immediately obvious to customers in the shop which products are ‘green’, Trust has added an Energy Efficient logo to the packaging of the adaptors which meet the directives.
