Bob Snyder

Bob Snyder is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of THE DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL, publishers of CONSUMER I.T., print and electronic publications for high-volume buyers of consumer I.T. in Europe. A well-known commentator on European I.T. industry, Bob has been a guest speaker on I.T. distribution for such firms as Lucent, NEC, Toshiba, AMD, Intel, EIA, Hannover Fairs, Hewlett-Packard, SUN, and many others. He is currently Vice-President of the ITCA with more than 6000 channel members worldwide. CONSUMER I.T. is owned and published by The Distribution Channel Ltd., content providers to the channel and publishers of the weekly e-newsletters IT Solution Providers (networking channels), On CE (consumer electronics channels), rAVe Europe (Pro Audio Video channels), and ECI (European Custom Installer for Home Theater & Home Automation).

Dr. Rudolf Aunkofer, Global Research Director IT, GfK Retail & Technology

Rudolf Aunkofer is Global Research Director IT at GfK Retail and Technology GmbH. He is responsible for GfK’s IT Tracking Activities across the different geographies with focus on EMEA, CEE & CIS.  Prior to joining GfK, Rudolf Aunkofer worked in sales management for Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG and in product management for AEG Hausgeräte GmbH.

Rudolf Aunkofer is the author of many articles related to Information Technology in Germany and Europe and also lectures on this subject.  He is author of the book entitled “Future Concept Multimedia”. Rudolf Aunkofer received his Ph.D. in Management Science and teaches Management & Corporate Planning.

Pascal Bollon, Global Director, IT, GfK Retail & Technology

Pascal Bollon

Pascal Bollon is the Global Marketing Director for the IT and Office department of GfK R&T. He coordinates all international initiatives for Information Technologies and Office products. Overseeing and coordinating the development and implementation of the GfK IT research strategy, he covers the 4 GfK regions: Asia, EMEA, Japan, and for the USA, in coordination with Intelect-NPD.

After a brief period as career officer for the French Army, Pascal BOLLON worked for GfK since 1994. Posted in Asia as Sales and Marketing Manager for ITC products and Research Director, he set up Telecoms, IT, Office, Consumer Electronics tracking panels from China to Indonesia, India to Taiwan from 1997 to 2001 before moving back to Europe to head the IT and Office department. Pascal Bollon is currently servicing top IT manufacturers and supports international resellers and retailers as well as a number of international bodies.

A regular speaker in retail and resellers forums, as GfK as well as an independent speaker, Pascal Bollon approaches the markets from a market research perspective as well as a hands-on practitioner.
